Request for Quotations

The City of Surrey invites contractors to provide a quotation for the supply of:

7000 L.P.M. Triple Combination Pumper Truck(s)

Equipment/vehicles are to be new and unused and not previously titled.

Specification of Goods -  (See Schedule A of RFQ document)
The vehicle detailed in this specification is a 7000 L.P.M. Triple Combination unit.  This vehicle must comply with all D.O.T. and British Columbia Motor Vehicle Act regulations.

Cab and Chassis
The cab and chassis shall be a medium four door, 10" raised roof over crew and driver-officer area, aluminum tilt cab, built specifically for the fire service by a publicly held U.S. parent company, specializing in chassis design for all fire service applications.  The cab and chassis shall meet the specifications of the National Fire Protection Association Standard 1901, (2009 edition or latest edition).

The 7000 L.P.M. triple combination pumper truck shall be manufactured by a company with a registered quality standard no less than ISO 9001.

The 7000 L.P.M. triple combination pumper truck shall be delivered F.O.B. City of Surrey in first class operating condition.

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at (the "BC Bid Website") and the City Website at (the "City Website") that will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.

All inquiries related to this Request for Quotation ("RFQ") should be directed in writing to the contact person named below.
