Request for Quotations

The City invites competent Contractors to submit a Quotation for the provision of moving office furniture, staff belongings, and miscellaneous items from multiple locations to the new Surrey Main Works Yard Facility to be located at 6651 - 148th Street, Surrey, BC.

The City is redeveloping its existing operations yard on the same site that is located northwest corner of 66 Avenue and 148 Street.

Upon completion of the main buildings, the City will be required to relocate approximately 133 employees.

Scope of Services
The Contractor will provide a variety of Services, on an "as and when requested basis" such as dismantling, packing, labeling, moving and transporting of furniture and/or other tangible assets from one location to another for unpacking, and assembly of moved assets according to floor layout plans, removing materials used and cleaning of vacated and new office locations, including the supply of containers (carton boxes or similar materials).

The Contractor is to provide a site manager.

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City's Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at (the "BC Bid Website") and the City Website at (the "City Website") that will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractor to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.

All inquiries related to this Request for Quotation ("RFQ") should be directed in writing to the contact person named below.
