Engineering Infrastructure

To meet the needs of Surrey residents, the Engineering Department has a capital construction program and a 10-Year Servicing Plan that identifies the City's infrastructure needs over the next 10 years.

These projects are partly funded through utility rates and development cost charges, and meet the requirements of our design publications. Additionally, property owners can use the Local Area Service Program to petition for desired neighbourhood improvements. The Engineering Department also provides Surrey City Energysanitary sewer, water, waste collection, drainage and environmental services to the City.
