Get access to free or low-cost community services in Surrey. There is support available for you and your family across the community.

bc211 Services

The City of Surrey is partnering with bc211, a free service supported by the United Way that provides information and support to anyone seeking community services. The service is available 7 days a week.

You can call, text, and visit the bc211 website to use these services.


Dial 2-1-1 to talk with an Information & Referral Specialist. This service is free, confidential, available in many different languages, and available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Access for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing community is available by dialing 604-875-0885.


Text “Surrey” to 2-1-1 to chat with an Information & Referral Specialist. This service is free, confidential, and available 7 days a week between the hours of 8am and 11pm.

Visit the bc211 website to search the many types of services available from housing, to addiction services, to medical facilities and community groups you’ll find it all on the website. An online chat feature will be launching soon.
