Come experience Bear Creek Park Lights for two weeks from Saturday, November 2 to Friday, November 15. See schedule for details.

This year, due to the popularity of the event, we have moved out of the garden. Illuminated trees and light displays throughout the water park and playground are sure to dazzle your senses.

Schedule

November 10-14 (Sunday - Thursday)
Quiet nights with just the lights

November 15 (Friday)
Activity Zone, Food Trucks & Roving Performers. Shuttle available, see below for details.

Getting There

Park & Ride Shuttle Service: November 15 only

Avoid congestion and take one of our shuttles. Service will run between the Surrey School District Education Centre (14033 92 Avenue) and the overflow parking lot at Bear Creek Park (140 Street and 86A Avenue). From the overflow parking lot, participants will have to walk about 5 minutes past the garden and into the water park area. Please note the pathway will be lit but it is still very dark in the park. The shuttle will run approximately every 15 minutes between 5:30 and 9:30pm.

Parking

Parking will be busy, please plan to carpool, get dropped off, take the shuttle, walk if you live close by or take transit.

  • Main Entrance Parking: 13750 88 Avenue
  • Overflow Parking: 140 Street at 86A Avenue

Transit

Bus stops are located very close to Bear Creek Park along King George Boulevard, 88 Avenue and 140 Street. Visit Translink to find the best route and schedule for you.

Tips for Your Visit

  • Dress for the weather. Wear warm clothes and be prepared for rain. Rain gear, boots, gloves, and hats are recommended.
  • Pathways are wide and paved.
  • Please leave your pets at home.
  • If you plan to walk or park in the overflow, bring a flashlight. The park will be dark outside the event area.
