Surrey Legacy Book Project

Surrey: A City of Stories is not your average history book. Rather, it features an inviting blend of archival photos, maps and documents and artifacts on each page. Complemented by quotes and memories from Surrey citizens, from pioneers to present day residents, the book tells the story of the City we know today.

"The most important thing I learned, and one of the structuring elements of the book, is how proud Surrey citizens are of their neighbourhoods and their city.  We think this is a book with lots of heart, and it comes from what people told us about their feelings for this place."  -K. Jane Watt, award-winning author
